GAEU Ventures invests in EpinovaTech

In a bridge financing for an upcoming A round, GAEU Ventures has invested in the nanotechnology company EpinovaTech.

EpinovaTech has developed NovaGaN® - a proprietary method of reinforcing silicon wafers at the nanoscale and coating them with a thin layer of the semiconductor material Gallium Nitride (GaN). Microchips can thus be given huge performance improvements in terms of speed, size and power consumption, coupled with a superior chip architecture. The approach is also directly compatible with existing chip fabs.

"NovaGaN® has the potential to be a game changer in the power chip and cmos industry. There are also many other global application areas, such as green hydrogen production and battery manufacturing," comments Gunnar Bergstedt, Investment Manager at GAEU Ventures.
