Nordic Quick Systems' innovative sprockets next investment for GAEU Ventures

Piteå-based Nordic Quick Systems (NQS) has developed completely new types of sprockets, feed rollers and sole shafts with replaceable wear parts. Instead of replacing the entire component, NQS makes it possible to quickly and easily change only the worn parts.

The NQS system means that customers in e.g. paper and pulp mills, heating plants, sawmills etc. can carry out maintenance on e.g. chain wheels without dismantling the chain or wheel body from the conveyor. The result is significantly faster maintenance, eliminated fire risk, increased ergonomics for the personnel, reduced maintenance costs, maintained alignment of the conveyor, shortened production downtime and minimized environmental impact.

GAEU Ventures believes that NQS has the potential to fundamentally change the market for sprockets and other wear components for the industry with its innovation capabilities.
